A first for saints, everyone had been tucked up in bed before midnight as we step up our professionalism.

Another really good test playing against this Dong Nai team as both teams struggled with the heat.

Our attrition kept us going and in a comfortable position until half time. Then by the second half our use of subs to counter the effects of the heat as well as some clinical finishing gave us a good victory.

New player Blathers bent one in from outside the box and Daniel Suarez making his goalkeeping debut saved a penalty.
